Happy New Year!
I brought these fun cupcakes to our party last night.
Kristan at Confessions of a Cookbook Queen was a creative genius behind these little lovelies!
My mouth about fell to the floor when I saw her cupcakes and I knew I had to attempt to make them!

The Cookbook Queen will walk you through how to make these step by step (click here).
If you find yourself “baked challenged”,
have no worries!
Confessions of a Cookbook Queen’s site has incredible ideas and tutorials along with stunning food photography.
Eye candy I tell you!
I tried gold edible glitter sugar and white chocolate dipped donut holes for my cupcakes.
The use of donut holes opens up all kinds of possibilities in baking.

I definitely like the white pole better, and the gold and white mixed looks very classy. Great job and Happy New Year!

Kim those look wonderful, and oh SO cute! They would make adorable topiary cupcakes too if you could add a smaller second ball! 🙂

Thanks everyone! To answer L.Johnson’s question-I found the cupcake liners at Target. They usually carry special liners in their “seasonal” food aisle, not their baking aisle.
