Happy Friday! It’s party time! We are counting down to fall each Friday in September. Last week Maryann at Domestically Speaking kicked it off with a fall craft and today I’m showing my fall front porch and door décor. Last year’s fall front porch was classic and traditional and this year it’s a festive mix of traditional and whimsy!
Fun letters Mod Podged in autumn colors and prints tumble down my door, suspended by glittery ribbons, and watched over by a couple winged friends.
Click for instructions how to make this DIY fall letter “wreath” and Pumpkin Topiaries.
Now it’s time to show off what you’ve been working on.
We want to see your fall décor, fall crafts, delish fall recipes, fall traditions… anything that is fall related we’d love for you to link up to the party!
The Countdown to Fall will continue next Friday, Sept. 21 over at It’s So Very Cheri with fall recipes and then on the 28th at DIY Showoff. I’ll showcase some of your wreaths and porches too!
(Only those who link back will be featured).
Please be courteous and add the Countdown to Fall button pic or a text link onto the post you are linking up so your readers can find the party also. Thanks so much!

I’ve been looking forward to this party, Kim! I love decorating my front porch, and Autumn is my favorite season, so this party is right up my alley. Thank you so much for hosting!
Your whimsical decor is great! I’ll bet your kids love it–and won’t it be fun for Halloween? When my kids were younger we lived on a street that got hundreds of trick-or-treaters, and it was fun to make things especially welcoming for them. Now we’re at the end of a long driveway on a street that gets very little traffic, so no trick-or-treaters any more. I miss that!
Have a great weekend!

LOL. Nevermind. First I thought fall projects. Then I thought, “whoops! only front porch projects”. Now, upon reading, I am back to fall. One of those days. Again, I apologize.
