Hi friends! I’ve had a fun past weekend. My husband did something he rarely does and whisked me away for an impromptu romantic weekend in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It was a little pre-Valentine’s Day celebration. We stayed in Kitty Hawk, NC at an ocean front hotel and visited a cute aquarium on Roanoke Island. We took long strolls along the oceanfront, collected shells, watched dolphins play and pelicans soar. It was so nice to simply be husband and wife and reconnect again and enjoy a no-obligations weekend! I might have gained 5 pounds though for all the dining out we did but it was worth it! Now that we’re back home, I realize how fast Valentines is approaching!
