Rustic Glam Christmas Dining Room

This week I’ve been trying to finish up the holiday decorating so that I can relax and enjoy this amazing month of celebration! Now that the table and buffet are finally painted and refinished, the dining room feels complete and I love how everything has come together! Come take a little tour of our Rustic Glam Christmas Dining Room.

The decorating theme for the dining room is a soft, neutral christmas color pallete of light gray, snowy white, rustic and warm driftwood tones, and fresh greenery. Small touches of glamorous sparkle and shine come from the crystal chandelier, crystal goblets, glass icicles, and mixed metals in the gold flatware, holiday plates and silver candleabras. 

I kept the place settings light and simple by layering everyday white plates  with festive, holiday salad plates. Cute,  frosted and bleached pinecones with a sprig of juniper adorn each place setting. 

For the centerpiece, I put wet floral oasis in the bottom of a mercury glass bowl. I lined the inside of the bowl with plastic wrap first. Next I tucked in a few spigs of juniper and then piled on a few champagne and white Christmas balls, bleached pinecones and white camellias from our yard. White roses would look beautiful too. It came together in less than 5 minutes and cost me nothing.

The rustic glam Christmas tree is one of my favorites too! Bleached pinecones, glass icicles, and more champagne and white ornaments create a cozy, woodsy, yet elegant tree. Learn how to bleach your own pinecones here: DIY Bleached Pinecones. 

Three flocked mini Alpine trees fill an empty corner of the dining room with Christmas glow. It ripped apart an old pillow to create the look of faux snow under the trees and added some of that fill to the large Christmas tree too.
