I’m on a blue and white kick this year and I just love it! This week I had the fun opportunity to join a great group of bloggers for a holiday entertaining blog hop hosted by Designthusiasm. I’m sharing A Blue and White Thanksgiving Table. This tablescape has a fun mix of patterns and textures in shades of denim, soft greens, and creamy white pumpkins. Let me give a special welcome to all of you popping over from Shabbyfufu. I will list all the bloggers’beautiful tablescapes at the bottom of this post.
The stars of this blue and white Thanksgiving table are these adorable white pumpkin soup bowls and soup tureen. They are so crazy inexpensive you will want to buy them up before they are gone!

Our everyday white plates are paired with navy blue and white salad plates from Homegoods.
I had been using the woven denim blue table runner upstairs in our navy blue media room but decided to borrow it and try it out for this tablescape. Don’t be afraid to shop your house for items.
The DIY succulent pumpkins have been such a popular project. They look so cute and right at home next to the big white pumpkin tureen.
The console table is great spot for storing and displaying all our serving dishes and this little owl plate adds a touch of whimsy to the room. My kids love him!
Here is a little decorating tip/cheat. The table looks as though I set it with 3 table runners, one blue and 2 white plaid. Well if you want to create the look of table runners, simply use cloth napkins instead. Tuck the top under the center table runner and allow the bottom of the napkin to drape over the table edge.
No one will be the wiser and it looks beautiful!
Check back in tomorrow because I will be sharing my favorite Roasted Butternut Squash Soup recipe! It has a little kick of heat to it. So delish!

Love the blue and white theme. Did you get your table runner this year or was that something from the past. Beautiful pictures!
Kim @ Sand & Sisal says
Hi Sandy! The table runner was bought this summer at Target. I’m not sure that they carry it anymore. Thanks for the kind comment! Have a great weekend ~ KIM
