I love receiving homemade food gifts and these little jars filled with yummy, sweet, tangy goodness are so simple to whip up (pardon the pun) for a friend’s birthday. Let’s make some Citrus Whipped Honey Butter! I’ve provided a printable recipe and printable birthday tag for you too!

- 2 sticks of salted sweet cream butter (not margarine)
- 2 tablespoons finely grated clementine orange peel
- 3 tablespoons orange juice concentrate- thawed
- ¼ cup orange blossom honey
- Bring the butter to room temperature and place in a bowl or food processor.
- Add the grated orange peel, orange juice concentrate and honey to the bowl or food processor.
- Whip with either an electric beater or food processor until light and smooth.
- Store in small 4 ounce jelly jars to give as gifts or use for yourself.
- Keep in the refrigerator until 20 minutes before use.
- This recipe will fill two and ½ jars.
- Spread on biscuits, cornbread, scones, waffles, french toast or pancakes.

How long does the butter last in the fridge? 🙂 Looks great by the way.

Hi Danae! It will last as long as any other butter does (2 months). It can be frozen for 6-9 months. After a while the honey might separate from the butter but a quick stir will blend it together again. Hope that helps! Thanks! ~KIM
