Oh my word that is disgusting!!!! We have carpenter ants also, although not thousands on the windows but I did find one on my bed the other day!!! My dad is getting some stuff to spread around the foundation tomorrow. Maybe we’ll give this stuff a try .
The ants keep coming to our house every spring as well, we have had them in the living room and kitchen. We are also still looking for soemthing that keeps them away effectively, as this product is probably not available in Germany.

Happy to say that we don’t have an ant problem….but to amuse yourself: if you draw a circle in chalk around an ant it is fun to watch him try to leave the circle – apparently they won’t cross over a chalk line…..maybe paint your house in ASCP – LOL.
A few years ago I was literally having nightmare’s due to the invasion of the ants. It was like a bad horror movie. Knocking on wood here, but it’s been 2 years since I’ve seen one in my house, thanks to the Amdro. I hope it works as well for you. Excellent giveaway too!!
My husband and I use the “motel” type baits and they work well for us. He also sprays around the entire house before “ant season” hits! So sorry about the ant invasion in your house!
