I’m back from a lovely week long family vacation on Hatteras Insland in N.C. I’m sure you have heard about the shark attacks last week? Guess where they took place? Yep. One took place in front of our beach house (I’m not kidding you). It was a little to close for comfort for sure. I’ll share more pics and tell about the island vacation later this week.

I saw something here in the water last week that I thought was either dolphins or small whales. Then I found out that there are sharks in the water here too – eek!
