I’m excited to share today 101+ Birthday Gift Ideas for your Friends, including my Citrus Whipped Honey Butter + Printable. I love receiving homemade food gifts and these little jars filled with yummy, sweet, tangy goodness are so simple to whip up (pardon the pun) for a friend’s birthday. Citrus Whipped Honey Butter Jars

Citrus Whipped Honey Butter

Ingredients
  • 2 sticks of salted sweet cream butter (not margarine)
  • 2 tablespoons finely grated clementine orange peel
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice concentrate- thawed
  • ¼ cup orange blossom honey
Instructions
  1. Bring the butter to room temperature and place in a bowl or food processor.
  2. Add the grated orange peel, orange juice concentrate and honey to the bowl or food processor.
  3. Whip with either an electric beater or food processor until light and smooth.
  4. Store in small 4 ounce jelly jars to give as gifts or use for yourself.
  5. Keep in the refrigerator until 20 minutes before use.
  6. This recipe will fill two and ½ jars.
  7. Spread on biscuits, cornbread, scones, waffles, french toast or pancakes.

    How long does the butter last in the fridge? 🙂 Looks great by the way.

      Hi Danae! It will last as long as any other butter does (2 months). It can be frozen for 6-9 months. After a while the honey might separate from the butter but a quick stir will blend it together again. Hope that helps! Thanks! ~KIM
